Computers/Internet and how we think

Here is an article that should make us think how we use Internet and whether it affects how we process information and think

Another article by Greengard makes similar points.

  1. I started reading the article Nicholas Carr, which talks about how differently we read now thanks to the internet. He points out how we don't read more than a few pages on the internet before we move on or lose our concentration. After I got about half way through his article, I founding myself ready to move on. Then I began to wonder why would would he write this long article if he believed his theory. I have to say I agree that the chance of reading long detailed articles is on the decline, in favor of reading more shorter articles obtain the information.
